Available Reports

Navigate to Reports in the sidebar to access your financial reporting tools. Nestingbird offers several report types:

  • Spending Breakdown — see where your money goes, broken down by category. Identify your largest expense areas at a glance.
  • Income vs. Expense — compare what's coming in (assessments, fees) against what's going out. This is the most important report for understanding your association's financial health.
  • Trend Analysis — view spending patterns over time to spot increasing costs or seasonal variations.
  • Category Detail — drill into any expense category to see individual transactions.

Filtering and Date Ranges

All reports can be filtered by date range, category, or transaction type. Compare year-over-year performance, look at a single quarter, or zoom into a specific month. Flexible filtering helps you answer specific questions from board members or homeowners.

Exporting Reports

Every report can be exported for sharing with your board, accountant, or community. Use exports for board meeting packets, annual financial disclosures, or tax preparation. Having clean, categorized financial data makes year-end accounting significantly easier.

Sharing with Your Community

Financial transparency is a cornerstone of good HOA management. Regularly sharing financial reports — even summary versions — builds trust with homeowners and demonstrates responsible stewardship of their assessment dollars.

Plan Requirement

Financial reports require the Good Standing plan or above.
